IN MY MAKE-UP BAG

I am very simple with make up. I use powder once a week. I love mascaras and although I keep trying different ones, my fav are from Lancome. When I feel I need to look pretty and for the evenings, I put an eyeliner, an eyeshadow (mostly light pink and a bit darker shadow on the corners) and a red lipstick. I love red lipstick!!

Shala Monroque

Shala is 32-year-old Caribbean beauty who is blessed with good looks, a sharp-minded personality, a great confidence and a love for eye popping color. She is a New York based magazine editor, art consultant and muse art consultant. Monroque’s leanings towards the unconventional, her talent for melding art and fashion, together with the fact her partner in love is the influential American gallery mogul Larry Gagosian, only adds to her intrigue.

For the past few years Shala has been a front row fixture at the top fashion shows around the world. She's famous for her impeccable taste and very much loved by street style bloggers.

IEVE MODELS 9th Anniversary

IEVE MODELS has a number of licenses for prestigious international modeling contests & beauty pageants. Since 2002 until the end of 2011 we have sent 103 models to various competitions and they brought home 44 awards which include 4 winners, 5 first runner ups, 5 second runner ups and 5 most precious Miss Friendship titles.

My morning hour

       Every morning, my husband makes us freshly squeezed juice from these ingredients: apple, orange, cabbage, beetroot, celery, parsley, pear, carrot and pineapple. Perfect vital nutrient to start a day.

       I am a master in making Turkish coffee (my inheritance from childhood in Sarajevo). So every morning I choose between Turkish coffee, herbal tea or Illy espresso from my great Gaggia coffee machine.

And, my morning favorite is reading.

What better way to start a day then a quiet hour in the morning with people and things you love :)

Personal style 007 LOVE FOR VINTAGE

All items I'm wearing in this post are gifts I got from people I love. This is why each piece I appreciate more. Also, I adore getting things all over the globe as each time I put them on, they awake the good memories :)

The dress is a present from my friend, famous Bosnian designer, Nermina Varešanović. I have organized the fashion show for her spring/summer '05 collection in Sarajevo & this particular dress have opened the show.

The three necklaces my mother got for me when I visited her in Florida. The bracelets are from antique shop from Byblos, Lebanon. The ring with two birds I got from my girlfriend Asena, a TV presenter from Istanbul, just a few weeks ago. The lips rings are old gift from a friend in Sarajevo and the flower ring also from my mom.

The golden crystal tasbih is a present from my Syrian friend while in Beirut last October.
And, my 100 years old very, very much worn MaxMara boots, I got from MaxMara people.
